Happy Monday, beautiful people! I hope everyone of you is having or had a great start of the week.

In my case, I’ve had a chilly Monday morning. I didn’t forget to grab my umbrella when I saw that it was raining a bit outside but I did forget to bring my jacket. Just how silly at the same time brave I was. The tragic part was I still had to wait for a couple of minutes for my bus to arrive. I couldn’t even enjoy the songs playing on my Spotify because my body was terribly shaking. Disaster.

“Life is a bowl of cherries. Some cherries are rotten while others are good; its your job to throw out the rotten ones and forget about them while you enjoy eating the ones that are good! There are two kinds of people: those who choose to throw out the good cherries and wallow in all the rotten ones, and those who choose to throw out all the rotten ones and savor all the good ones.” ― C. Ever noticed my growing love for white fashion with my previous blog posts here and here? Not that it’s something I just recently discovered but the scorching weather as summer hits its stride here in PH makes me want to wear something that’s light and comfortable. With summer that tends to make us sweat a lot, especially to some people who sweat more than others (good thing I’m not one of those), wearing white is more empirical than being IN style and pulling off something summery such as floral prints.

I have always loved wearing swimsuits. I’m not sure if I had one when I was still a kid (I might need to ask my mom about it) but as far as I recall, the very first time I wore swimsuit was when I was still in high school. Please don’t laugh at me but it was actually one of the happiest days of my life! Imagine the feeling when you had to take it off and had to return it to its owner at the end of the day? I felt like something was taken from me, which in reality wasn’t really mine. Haha. Because what happened was I didn’t really ask permission from my parents and I kind of (white) lied just for me to go out that day. And, I had no plan to go swimming that’s why I never brought any bathing suit with me (because I didn’t own one, too lol). But as expected from a vulnerable teenager like me then, I let peer pressure won and I found myself grabbing the one-piece bathing suit that my friend teasingly handed me. And then I live happily ever after. LOL.
