“You will thank me one day for not filling your head with false compliments. Adversity teaches one more than flattery ever will.” ― Rachel E. Carter

Today, while looking thru my FB newsfeed and occasionally chatting with my colleague on Skype, I’ve realised that we, people, are the main reason why haters hate even more. We hate haters but hating them actually also makes us one them. That’s why, being a hater of ugly things myself, I can understand some of these ‘hater’ people because not every one of them hates just for the sake of hating. Some of them have valid sensible reasons why they feel that way. In my case, here are two major things that trigger the ‘hate’ in me (and probably you) and why:

“Families are messy. Immortal families are eternally messy. Sometimes the best we can do is to remind each other that we’re related for better or for worse…and try to keep the maiming and killing to a minimum.” ― Rick Riordan

Tomorrow will be the first day of ‘Ber’ months. The thought makes my heart jump with joy. In the Philippines, we call these as happy months. Only if you love the Halloween and Christmas holidays, and the perks that come with them. Other people call these as months of too much spending, most especially to our fellow adults with a bunch of children around them.

“Be fanatically positive and militantly optimistic. If something is not to your liking, change your liking.” ― Rick Steves

Today was a bad hair day kind of day. My hormones and I had another huge misunderstanding. We didn’t get along well, as usual, especially this morning when I had to wake up early for a doctor’s appointment. I didn’t really want to get up or fix myself because I felt crappy that the only thing that looked pretty for me was this mint green tank top from Zaful. Well, it wasn’t that bad day, after all, knowing there was still something that I counted as a beauty.

a little bundle of cuteness

Life’s true gift lies in your freedom to design it beautifully. With each rise of the sun, you get to chase the opportunity to fill your days with meaning—to live your life the way you choose.

Dearest lovelies! This is going to be just a short catch up post because my body still feels like I got punched so hard from the long travel we had today. We just arrived home this morning (almost noon) from Poland. The trip took around 14 hours because of the intense traffic in Berlin, then in Frankfurt. It’s Monday and these are two of the big busy cities here in Germany and that’s what slipped our mind when we booked our ticket. We should have booked an earlier travel to avoid the traffic. I actually feel like I’m going to get a fever any moment now because the travel should’ve been just around 10-12 hrs.. I will tell you more about once I have all my power back. Meanwhile, here’s what I wore before we left Germany last Thursday.

8-reasons-why-i-love-wearing-dresses

“The way you dress is how you greet the sun and other stars.” ― Kamand Kojouri

Thank God, it’s Thursday!!! Happy cos my (work) vacation officially starts today. We’re off to Poland! (And this is just a scheduled post)

Today’s outfit features the most unexpectedly gorgeous dress I have ever worn. I never even expected that this Yellow Floral Ruffles Hem Bodycon Dress from VIPShop would look great on me and on the picture. As I have said on my previous outfit post, the dresses that were chosen for me were not really what I initially wanted and I was scared they won’t fit  good on me. Surprisingly, this dress looked so perfect, most especially when worn! It’s so beautiful that I have come up with a blog post about my love for dresses. Soo, without further ado, here are why I love wearing dresses:
