[diary] breakfast and weekends

“There is no such thing as a “broken family.” Family is family, and is not determined by marriage certificates, divorce papers, and adoption documents. Families are made in the heart. The only time family becomes null is when those ties in the heart are cut. If you cut those ties, those people are not your family. If you make those ties, those people are your family. And if you hate those ties, those people will still be your family because whatever you hate will always be with you.” ― C. JoyBell C.

Dearest Lovelies,

Today was a very lazy day. The wife and I decided to call it a rest day, which means no photoshoot. We woke up earlier than our usual wake up time but both of us hesitated to do something productive, except breakfast.

Breakfast is our favorite time during weekends. It’s the only time when we can talk about everything under the sun and even about the moon without rushing. We usually talk about sensible stuff like family matters, work, future plans and so on. But today was different. I guess we’ve overused the word ‘travel’. We’re so excited about our upcoming trip to the Philippines that all we’ve talked about the whole day was our future travel plans. The wife even watched a couple of travel vlogs to satisfy her wanderlust yet more.

On the other hand, we had a good day yesterday. We had a Saturday well spent at our dear parent’s place that we decided to spend the night there. The grilled cheese Pudra made was heaven! Golly, I super duper love spending the weekend, pigging out with the family. Everyone who loves food would absolutely love Polish family. They would really feed you like a cow, just like what Daria would always say. Haha! We went out with Mudra after the dinner to eat ice cream.

We returned home, rested a bit and went out again to spend some time in the lake nearby. It’s called ‘Erlensee’ in Bickenbach.

Of course, we ate again there. Because why!? Don’t you know that the ‘family that eat together, stay together’? 😉 Also, don’t underestimate my petite frame because I could also like a cow. Imagine, I had three slices of pizza, while the rest only had two. 😀 Then after, each of us had two shots of Ouzo vodka. It was only two but I had a hangover the next day! Just like Russians and Polish vodkas, Greeks also have a killer vodka. Ughh, I feel like throwing up just the thought of its taste. Which explains why we were so lazy today.

Lastly, I’d like you to meet our uninvited guest, Spidey. I saw it while I was watering my plants when we finally returned home.  I even wonder where it came from because my plants were only placed in the kitchen.

Hope you all had a great weekend!
