“People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life. ― Elizabeth Gilbert

5-piece-outfit-ideas-for-fall-autumn

“Even after the stormiest weather, a true warrior will still reflect the brilliant rays of the magnificent sun through both his or her eyes. You may get hit by sudden lighting or take severe beatings from the cruel wind, but you will always get back up and stand strong on your feet again, soak in the sunlight, and be prepared to get hit by even the most merciless hail – time and time again.” ― Suzy Kassem

3-ways-to-wear-a-retro-dress-autum-fall-style-inspired

As you have probably noticed, I’m a huge fan of vintage style. Retro dresses in particular. What worries me now though is the fact that it’s already cold. But well, just like the old adage ‘if there’s a will there’s a way’, there are definitely a lot of ways to get through fall/autumn season, and with my favourite vintage dresses! With that being said, here are three style ideas on how to wear our favourite retro dresses even when it’s freezing cold outside. I’ve collected these not just for myself but absolutely for you, too (in collaboration with Rosegal). Outfit details are clickable, so feel free to check them out! x

3-ways-to-wear-a-tunic-style-ideas

“To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.”― Osho

As funny and ignorant as it sounds, I used to think that tunics are only for women in their mid-age. That’s because I grew up seeing my mom’s friends always on their tunic tops. I even had this hypothetical explanation that maybe once a woman reaches the age of 40s, she’s not allowed to wear other styles anymore and that her clothing should be only limited to tunics. I also used to think that tunics are only for plus size women because the majority of my mom’s amigas are quite meaty. LOL. I am so ashamed of myself for thinking this way but I was a young innocent kid then who grew up surrounded with stereotypes. If not of my ambitious spirit, I’m still probably so ignorant of the world. Thanks to my destiny for kicking me out of the province. Living in the city has opened my eyes and showed me the modern world, where everything is possible.
